Answer:

2x-y=2 ---------(1) , x+3y=15 -(2)

eq (2) *2

2x- y =2

2x+6y=30

------------------

-7y = -28

7y = 28

y = 4

substitute value of y in eq (1)

2x-y=2

2x-4=2

2x=6

x=3

To find-

x+y = 3+4 = 7
