Welcome to the concept of linear equation, which is a part of algebra!

This is a question based on the concept of linear equation in one variable.

Here, we use variables and constants and the method of transposition to solve questions.

 =  >  \frac{3}{2x + 4}  =  \frac{1}{3}

Do cross multiplication.

 =  > 3  \times 3 = 1(2x + 4)

 =  > 9 = 2x + 4

 =  > 9 - 4 = 2x

 =  > 5 = 2x

 =  >  \frac{5}{2}  = x

Verification:-

LHS=3/2x+4. RHS=1/3

3/2×5/2+4

3/5+4

3/9

1/3=1/3

So, LHS=RHS, hence verified and it is correct
