answer :

3(p+5)+4(p-2)=4(p+6)

3p + 15 + 4p - 8 = 4p + 16

7p  + 7 = 4p + 16

bring all the constants on one side and variables at one side

7p - 4p = 16 - 7

3p = 9

p = 9/3

p = 3

therefore , p=3  is the solution
