 \frac{3x}{4}  + \frac{x}{6}  = 22

 \frac{18x + 4x}{24}  = 22

 \frac{3x}{4}  +  \frac{x}{6}   = 22

\leadsto \frac{9x + 2x}{12}  = 22

\leadsto \frac{11x}{12} = 22

\leadsto11x = 22 \times 12

\leadsto11x = 264

\leadsto \: x =  \frac{264}{11}

\leadsto \: x = \:  \frac { \cancel{264}}{ \cancel{11}}

\leadsto \:  \huge \: x = 24

Hope it helps........
