Solve The Equation 3x + y = 2 , 6x +2y = 4 Using substitution method

Answer:

3x+y = 2

y = 2-3x -----> (equation 1)

substituting the value of y from equation 1 in equation 2 :-

3x + 2(2-3x) = 4

=> 3x + 4 - 6x = 4

=> 3x = 0

=> x = 0

therefore, putting the value of x in equation 1 :-

3×0 + y = 2

=> 0+y = 2

=> y = 2

hence x=0 and y=2
