3x-y=3
7x+2y=20
2(3x-y)=3×2=6
6x-2y=6
7x+2y=20
subtracting both sides
7x+2y-(6x+2y)=20-6
7x+2y-6x-2y=14
x=14
3×14-y=3
42-y=3
y=42-3=39
hope it helped☺☺
