=3x^2-15x+x-5
=3x (x-5)+1 (x-5)
=(x-5)(3x+1)
if (x-5)(3x+1)=0
then x-5=0,3x+1=0
x=5, x=-1/3
=3x (x-5)+1 (x-5)
=(x-5)(3x+1)
if (x-5)(3x+1)=0
then x-5=0,3x+1=0
x=5, x=-1/3

Given:= 3x2-14x-5= 0
= [tex] 3 x^{2} +x-15x-5=0 \\ \\ x(3x+1)-5(3x+1)=0 \\ \\ (x-5)(3x+1)= 0 \\ \\ x= 5 and x= -1/3 \\ [/tex]
= [tex] 3 x^{2} +x-15x-5=0 \\ \\ x(3x+1)-5(3x+1)=0 \\ \\ (x-5)(3x+1)= 0 \\ \\ x= 5 and x= -1/3 \\ [/tex]
