SOLVE THE EQUATION
4(p-3)=2(p+5)-6

Answer:

4p-12 = 2p+10-6

4p-2p = 10-6+12

2p = 22-6

p = 16/2

p = 8

4p - 12 = 2p + 10 - 6.

4p - 12 = 2p + 4.

4p-2p = 4 + 12.

{ transposing 2p to LHS and -12 to RHS. }

2p = 16 .

p = 16 / 2

{ transposing 2 to RHS } .

Thus , p = 8.
