4x - 5y +16=0
2x-y-6=0​

2x-y = 6 ---------2

y = 2x - 6 ------------3

Put the equation( 3) in equ(1).....

4x - 5(2x-6) = -16

4x - 10x + 30 = -16

-6x = -46

x = 46/6

x = 23/3

put the value of (x) in equation 2

2×23/3 - y = 6

46-3y = 18

-3y = 18-46

-3y = -28

y = 28/3
