The given equation,

5 (y-3) = 3 (4y+1) +8

5y-15 = 12y +3 +8

12y - 5y + 11+15 = 0

7y + 26 = 0

y = -26/7

Hope it will help you

Ritikbhat628: How do u know that u have to keep 12y at left of 5y
aman9340: 12y is greater than 5y
