Answer:

6x - 5y = 2500

6x = 2500 + 5y

x = 2500 + 5y / 6 ............(1)

Putting the value of x in equation (2).

5x - 4y = 2500

5 × 2500 + 5y /6 - 4y = 2500

12500 + 25y / 6 - 4y = 2500

12500 + 25y - 24 y / 6 = 2500

12500 + y / 6 = 2500

12500 + y = 2500 × 6

12500 + y = 15000

y = 15000 - 12500

y = 2500

Putting the value of y in equation (1)

x = 2500 + 5y / 6

x = 2500 + 2505 / 6

x = 5005 / 6

x = 834.167
