Our equation is

8x+4y=7 ...........1equation

6x-8y=41.............2equation

8x+4y=7

4y=7-8x

Y=7-8x/4

We get value of y

By putting value of y in equation 2

6x-8y=41

6x-8(7-8x/4)=41

6x-14-16x=41

-10x=41+14

X=5.5

By putting the value of x in equation 1

8x+4y=7

8(5.5)+4y=7

44+4y=7

4y=7-44

Y=37/4
