a - ( a - 1/2) = 1 - (a - 2/3)
a - a + 1/2 = 1 - a + 2/3
1/2 = 1 + 2/3 - a
1/2 =( 3 + 2)/3 - a
1/2 = 5/3 - a
- a = 1/2 - 5/3
- a = (3 - 5)/6        ..............Taking the LCM of 2,3 = 6
-a = -2/6
a = 1/3              ..............Cancelling the negative sign on both the sides.

Dhruv00: hey bella plz check the 7th step ,it will be (3-10)/6
