Answer:

x=-4

Step-by-step explanation:

6(x+3) + 3x = 3(x-2)

6(x)+6(3) + 3x = 3(x)-3(2)

6x+18 +3x = 3x-6

9x+18 = 3x-6

9x-3x = -6-18

6x = -24

x=-4

QUESTION :-

6(x + 3) + 3x = 3(x – 2).

SOLUTION :-

➝ 6x + 18 + 3x = 3x – 6.

➝ 9x + 18 = 3x – 6.

➝ 9x – 3x = – 6 – 18.

➝ 6x = – 24.

➝ x = – 24 ÷ 6.

➝ x = –4.

VERIFICATION :-

➝ 6(–4 + 3) + 3(–4) = 3(–4 – 2)

➝ 6(–1) + –12 = 3(–6)

➝ –6 – 12 = –18.

➝ – 18 = – 18.

LHS = RHS.

Hence, Verified.
