$\frac{b}{2} = \frac{b}{3} +1$

$b = 2 × (\frac{b}{3} + 1)$

$b = \frac{2b}{3} +2$

$b = \frac{2b + 6}{3}$

$3b = 2b + 6$

$3b - 2b = 6$

$b = 6$
