x + 3y = 6. 1

2x - 3y = 12. 2

a1 = 1 , b1 = 3 , c1 = 6

a2 = 2 , b2 = -3 , c2 = 12

D = |a1/a2-b1/b2| = |1/2-3/(-3)| = |[1×(-3)] - (2×3)| = (-3)-6 = -9

Dx = |c1/c2-b1/b2| = |6/12-3/(-3)| = |6×(-3)-12×3| = |(-18)-36| = -54

Dy = |a1/a2-c1/c2| = |1/2-6/12| = |1×12-2×6| = 12-12=0

x = Dx/D

=-54/-9

=6

y = Dy/D

= 0/-9

= 0

solution of (x,y) = (6,0)
