first multiply 3 on eq 1 and 5 on e 2

then we obtain

15x+21y=222

15x+25y=25

sign changing

we find

-4y=197

y=197÷4

=49.25

putting value of y in eq 1

5x +344.75=74

5x=270.75

x==54.15
