solve the equation by reducing them
2/x+3/y=5 and
3/x -1/y=-9

Answer:

=3x + 2y = 5.........1

=x - 3y = 9...........2

=3x - 9y = 27.......(multiply by 3)

so 3x - 9y = 27

= 0x - 11y = 22

y= 22/11

so y= -2

putting value of y in equation (1)

3x + 2y = 5

3x + 2 (-2) = 5

3x - 4 = 5

3x = 5 + 4

3x = 9

so x= 3

so (x = 3) , (y = -2) are the solutions of the given equation
