3x-5y=-1.........(1)
x-y=-1..............(2)

From (2),
x=y-1...............(3)

Now, substituting x=y-1 in eqn (1), we have,
3(y-1)-5y=-1
=>3y-3-5y=-1
=>-2y=2
=>y=-1
Putting y=1 in eqn (3),
x=-1-1
=-2
Hence, x=-2 and y=-1
