• 7 - 2 ( 5 - 3x ) = 4 ( x-3) + 5

=> 7 - 10 + 6x = 4x - 12 +5

=> 6x - 3 = 4x - 7

=> 6x - 4x = -7 +3

=> 2x = -4

=> x = -4/2

=> x = -2
