0.3(6 - x) = 0.4(x + 8)

1.8 - 0.3x = 0.4x + 3.2

-0.3x - 0.4x = 3.2 - 1.8

-0.7x = 1.4

X = 1.4/-0.7

X = - 14/7

X = - 2

Hope it helps...!!!

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

0.3(6-x) = 0.4(x+8)

1.8-0.3x = 0.4x+3.2

1.8-3.2 = 0.4x + 0.3x

-1.4 = 0.7x

x = -2
