2x+4(3x-7) = 0

2x+12x -28 =0

14x=28

x=2

3x−7=7....(1)

x+4y=11....(2)

Multiply (1) by 4

12x−4y=28....(3)

x+4y=11....(2)

Add (3) and (2)

13x=39

x=3

a−y=7

y=2
