Step-by-step explanation:

4x-5y+16= 0

=> 4x-5y= -16 ------(I)

2x+y-6= 0

=> 2x+y= 6-------(II)

Comparing the two equation by some changes we have:

4x-5y+22=2x+y

=> 4x-2x+22= y+5y

=> 2x-6y= -22-----(iii)

Subtracting equation (III) from equation (ii) we get:

2x+y-2x+6y= 6+22

=> 8y= 24

=> y= 3

Putting value of Y in equation (ii) we get:

2x+3= 6

=> X= 3/2
