(6x-1)9/36-(x+2)4/36 = lhs

54x-9-4x+8/36 =lhs

50x-1/36=lhs

3x/2= rhs

therefore,

50x-1/36=3x/2

(50x-1)2=3x×36

100x-2=108x

-2= 8x

x=-1/4
