Answer:

x−1÷x=3

{x }^{2} - 1 = 3xx2−1=3x

{x}^{2} - 3x - 1 = 0x2−3x−1=0

So,

x = (3 + \sqrt{ { ( - 3)}^{2} - 4 \times 1 \times ( - 1)} )\div (2 \times 1)x=(3+(−3)2−4×1×(−1))÷(2×1)

Or

x = (3 - \sqrt{ {( - 3)}^{2} - 4 \times 1 \times ( - 1d)}) \div (2 \times 1)x=(3−(−3)2−4×1×(−1d))÷(2×1)

\begin{gathered}x = (3 + \sqrt{13} ) \div 2 \\ or \\ x = (3 - \sqrt{13}) \div 2 \end{gathered}x=(3+13)÷2orx=(3−13)÷2
