Solve the equation x^2-5x+6=0

- 5x + 6 = 0

Solving by Factorising.

We need to numbers such that

their product should be 1 × 6 = 6

And their sum should be -5

Numbers are -2 and - 3

Hence,

- 5x + 6 = 0

- 2x - 3x + 6 = 0

x(x - 2) - 3( x - 2) = 0

(x-3)(x-2)=0

x - 3 = 0

x = 3

Or

x - 2 = 0

x = 2

x = 2 or 3
