 \frac{x}{3}  + 2 = 2x - 3 \\  \frac{x + 6}{3}  = 2x - 3 \\ x + 6 = 6x - 9 \\ x - 6x =  - 9 - 6 \\  - 5x =  - 15 \\ x = 3
