2x+3y=14

2x−3y=2

__________

4x=16

Answer:

1) x/3 + y/2=4

x + y= 4x3x2  (∵ all constants have to be on one side, and the opposite of

                                                                                 division is multiplication)

x + y = 24

2) 2x/3 - y/4=3

   2x-y= 3×3×4  (∵ Constants have to be on one side)

  x - y= 36÷2

  x - y= 18

hope it helped :)
