solve the equation x-7=5+x/2

x-7=5+x/2

x-x/2=5+7

x/2=12

x=24

x-7=5+ x/2

by LCM

x-7=10+x/2

2x-14=10x-2x

14=10x-2x

x=14/8

x=4/7
