Answer:

Given,

x - x -  \frac{1}{2}  = 1 - x -  \frac{2}{3}

To Find :-

Value of 'x'

Solution :-

x - x -  \frac{1}{2}  = 1 - x -  \frac{2}{3}

Transposing all constant terms to Right Hand side and All variable terms to Left Hand Side :-

x - x + x = 1 -  \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{1}{2}

x = 1 -  \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{1}{2}

L.C.M of 3 , 2 = 6

x = (1 \times  \frac{6}{6}) - ( \frac{2}{3} \times  \frac{2}{2}) + ( \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{3}{3} )

x =  \frac{6}{6}  -  \frac{4}{6}  +  \frac{3}{6}

x =  \frac{6 - 4 + 3}{6}

x =  \frac{2 + 3}{6}

x =  \frac{5}{6}

\sf\therefore value of 'x' = \sf\dfrac{5}{6}

Know More :-

1) When '+' is transposed to other side it becomes '-' and vice versa.

2) When '÷' is transposed to other side it becomes'*' and vice versa
