2x + 5y = 1 .......eq.(1) \\ 3x + 2y = 7.......eq.(2) \\ multiply \: eq \: (1)by \: 3 \\ multiply \: eq(2)by2.... \\ so......... \\ we \: get \\ 6x + 15y = 3......(3) \\ 6x + 4y = 14......(4) \\ subract \: eq(4) \: from \: eq(3) \\ then \: we \: get....... \\ y = - 1 \\ x = 3
