Solve the equations 2x + y = 10 ; 4x – y = 8 by elimination method. ​

2x+y=10 y=10-2x putting the value of y in eq no second 4x -[10-2x] = 8 6x-10=8 6x=18 x=18÷6. x= 3 putting the value of x in eq no . first 2(3)+y=10. y=10-6=4
