Answer:

3x + 4y = 10..........(i)

2x - 2y = 2..........(ii)

Multiplying (ii) by 3,

 = > 6x - 6y = 6 \\ = > 2(3x - 3y) = 2(3) \\ = > 3x - 3y = 3..............(iii)

Subtracting (iii) by (i),

 = >( 3x + 4y) - (3x - 3y) = (10) - (3) \\ = > (3x + 4y - 3x + 3y) = 7 \\ = > 7y = 7 \\ = > y = \frac{7}{7} \\ = > y = 1

Substituting value of y in (i),

 = > 3x + 4(1) = 10 \\ = > 3x + 4 = 10 \\ = > 3x = 10 - 4 \\ = > 3x = 6 \\ = > x = \frac{6}{3} \\ = > x = 2

Hope this answer helps you ^_^ !
