  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

              Given data:- 4(a-4)=4.

To find:- Value of the expression.

              Solution:-

  • Here we will use the transposition method.
  • Transposition is one of the linear equations.
  • To solve the transposition method we will Identify the variables and constants.
  • Then we Simplify the equation in LHS and RHS.
  • Now Simplify the equation using arithmetic operations.

        By using the transposition method.

        we get,

                  4(a-4)=4\\=>4a-16=4\\=>4a=4+16\\=>4a=20\\=>a=\frac{20}{4}\\=>a=5.

Hence we will get the value a=5.

In accordance with the information provided in the question,

We have find the value of the supplied expression in the above question.

Given the data in question  4 (a-4) = 4

Arrange the equation and multiply the 4 into (a-4) and get the balance equation ,

4a-16=4

Hence, for solving the above equation, we will solve it by separating the like terms at one side.

So, we will shift 16 from LHS to RHS, the sign will change from negative to positive

So, we will get it as,

4a-16=4\\=4a=4+16\\4a=20\\a=\frac{20}{4} \\a=5

Hence, value of "a" in above equation will be 5.
