Solve the equations in given above image attached ​

x/7 + y/3 = 5

=> 3x + 7y = 105 ____(i)

and,

x/2 - y/9 = 6

=> 9x - 2y = 108 ____(ii)

Multiply 3 with equation (i) we get

9x + 21y = 315

substract equation (ii) with it,

9x + 21y = 315

9x - 2y = 108

23y = 207

=> y = 9

put the value in equation (i) we get,

3x + 7y = 105

=> 3x = 105 - 63

=> x = 42/3.

=> x = 14
