BY LOOKING AT THE EQUATIONS , I THINK THAT IT IS A MATHS QUESTION RATHER THAN A PHYSICS ONE BUT WHATEVER IT IS , THE SOLUTION IS GIVEN BELOW . PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM SUBSTITUTING I1 AS i(SMALL I) AND I2 AS I(CAPITAL I ).

Eq.1      -3(i+I)+12-5-2i=0

Eq.2     -3(i+I)+12-4I=0

BY EQUATING THESE EQ. WE GET

Eq.1=Eq.2

-3(i+I)+12-5-2i=-3(i+I)+12-4I

⇒(-3(i+I)+12)-(-3(i+I)+12)-5-2i=(-3(i+I)+12)-(-3(i+I)+12)-4I

⇒-5-2i=-4I⇒-1(-5-2i)=-1(-4I)⇒5+2i=4I⇒(5+2i)/2=(4I)/2⇒2.5+i=2I

∴ THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN I & i AFTER SOLVING BOTH THE EQUATIONS IS 2.5+i=2I .
