Average speed of object = 6 m/s
Solution
We have,
- Distance₁ = 18 m
- Distance₂ = 22 m
- Distance₃ = 14 m
And,
- Time₁ = 3 s
- Time₂ = 3s
- Time₃ = 3s
We will use formula : -
◕ Av. speed = Total distance/Total time
✒ Av. speed = (18 + 22 + 14)/(3 + 3 + 3)
✒ Av. speed = 54/9
✒ Av. speed = 6 m/s
∴ Average speed of object = 6 m/s
Some more formulas :
● Speed = Distance/Time
● Force = Mass × Acceleration

Answer:
Total distance covered = 18m+22m+14m=54m
total distance
Average speed = ---------------------
total time
54 6
Therefore, Average speed ------- = --------
9 1
Therefore, Average speed = 6m/s
