Answer:

a)x=2 b)x=6

Step-by-step explanation:

Here in the first question we will use exponential identity

If a and b are any real numbers, and m and n are rational numbers then,

am × an = am+n

a^m/a^n=a^m-n

(a^m)^n=a^mn

(a^m× b^m) = (a × b)^m

a^m*b^m= (ab)^m

√a=a^1/2 For the second question

a⁰=1. For the first question

So

a)From above 1=a⁰ where a can be any integer

Therefore

3^x-2=3⁰ When base are same values are same

x-2=0

x=2

The value of x will be 2.

b)As we know √5 can be written as 5^1/2

Therefore from above

LHS= (5^1/2)^x

=5^x/2

RHS=5³

Again base is same so power equalise

x/2=3

x=6

Therefore value of x is 6.

I really hope it helps you.

Appreciate your time.
