Before solving this sum we must know some laws for solving. They are as follows:

Anything to the power -n ( where n is any whole number ) is always turned into positive number by reciprocating it.

 a^{-n} =  \frac{1}{ a^{n} }

Similarly Anything to power 0 is always 1.

 a^{0} = 1

Now let us solve it:

[tex]= ( 3^{-1} + 4^{-1} )^{0} [/tex]

=  ( \frac{1}{3} +  \frac{1}{4} )^{0}

= (  \frac{4 + 3}{12} )^{0}

= (  \frac{7}{12} )^{0}

= 1

Hence answer is 1.
