Solve the Following.

1. Calculate the kinetic energy of a ball of mass 100g going with a speed of 20 m/s.

2. A stone of mass 500g is raised from a height of 2m to 4m. Find the change in its

Explanation:

The kinetic energy is 1/2mv^2

Here m=100g=0.1kg

and v=20m/sec

So KE=1/2×0.1×20=1Joule

The change in potential energy can be found by the formula mg(H-h)

Here m=0.5kg

G=9.8m/s^2

and H =4m

and h=2m

answer you will get to be 9.8Joules
