Step-by-step explanation:

10x + 3y = 11 (i) 11x + 5y = 7 (ii)

Multiplying (i) by 5 and (ii) by 3 , we get

50x + 15y = 55 (iii)

33x + 15y = 21 (iv)

Subtracting (iv) from (iii), we get

17x = 34

x = 34/17

x = 2

Putting the value of x in (ii), we get

11 × 2 + 5y = 7

22 - 7 = 5y

5y = 15

y = 3

So, x = 2 , y = 3

Hope it helps
