Given : (13x²+12xy-11y)+(17y²+14xy-13x²)

To Find : Evaluate the expression

Solution:

Like terms are the terms whose variables and their exponents are the same.

(13x²+12xy-11y)+(17y²+14xy-13x²)

Combine like term

= 13x²  - 13x²  + 12xy + 14xy  - 11y  + 17y²

= 0  + 26xy - 11y  + 17y²

= 26xy - 11y  + 17y²

= y (26x - 11 + 17y)

= y(26x + 17y - 11)

= 26xy + 17y² - 11y

(13x²+12xy-11y)+(17y²+14xy-13x²) = 26xy + 17y² - 11y

or y(26x + 17y - 11)
