Answer:

Find the least common denominator or LCM of the two denominators:

LCM of 15 and 5 is 15.

For the 1st fraction, since 15 × 1 = 15,

3/15 = 3×1 / 15×1 = 3/15.

Likewise, for the 2nd fraction, since 5 × 3 = 15,

2/5 =2×3 / 5×3 = 6/15

now add the fractions we get 9 /15

and after simply 3/5
