The solution of the equations are  x=\frac{17}{7} and y=\frac{5}{7}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Equations 2x+3y=7 and 6x-5y=11

To find : Solve the following equations ?

Solution :

Let 2x+3y=7 .....(1)

6x-5y=11  ......(2)

Multiply (1) by 3,

6x+9y=21 .....(3)

Subtract (2) and (3),

6x+9y-(6x-5y)=21-11

6x+9y-6x+5y=10

14y=10

y=\frac{10}{14}

y=\frac{5}{7}

Substitute the value in (1),

2x+3(\frac{5}{7})=7

\frac{14x+15}{7}=7

14x+15=49

14x=49-15

14x=34

x=\frac{34}{14}

x=\frac{17}{7}

Therefore, the solution of the equations are  x=\frac{17}{7} and y=\frac{5}{7}
