To solve :

  • 3x + 2 = 2x + 13/3

Solution :

3x + 2 = 2x + 13/3

→ 3x - 2x + 2 = 13/3

→ 1x + 2 = 13/3

→ x = 13/3 - 2

→ x = 13 × 1 - 2 × 3/3

→ x = 13 - 6/3

→ x = 13 - 2

x = 11

Required answer :

  • x = 11

Verification :

3x + 2 = 2x + 13/3

→ 3(7/3) + 2 = 2(7/3) + 13/3

→ 7 + 2 = 14/3 + 13/3

→ 9 = 27/3

9 = 9

LHS = RHS

  • Hence Verified.
