solving both equations

3x-2(2y)=10

3x-2(24-5x)=10

13x=38 then x=38/13

substing in any one equation

we get y

3x + 4y = 10 x 5
5x + 2y = 24 x 3

15x + 20y = 50
15x + 6y = 72
subtracting
14y = 22
y = 22/14
y = 11/7

put the value of y in any equation to find the value of x

3x + 4[11/7] = 10
3x + 44/7 = 10
21x + 44 = 70
21x = 26
x = 21/ 26
21x = 70 - 44
hope this helps ☺☺
