subtracting
14y = 22
y = 22/14
y = 11/7

put the value of y in any equation to find the value of x

3x + 4[11/7] = 10
3x + 44/7 = 10
21x + 44 = 70
21x = 26
x = 21/ 26
21x = 70 - 44
