solve the following 4 - [5x - (2x - 3)] = 9x - (x + 4)

4-[5x-(2x-3)]=9x-(x+4)

4-[5x-2x+3]=9x-x-4

4-[3x+3]=8x-4

4-3x-3=8x-4

1-3x=8x-4

1+4=8x-3x

5=5x

1=x

x=1 .
