Solve the following
-5=1-(4p+2)

so let's answer the question.......
-5 = 1 - (4p+2)
-5 = 1 - 4p - 2
-5 -1 +2 = -4p
-4 = -4p
-4/4 = -p
-1 = -p
p = 1
