You just need to make a number common in both equations and then change signs and eliminate numbers..

Here i made variable of "x" same i.e. 24 by multiplying 8×3 in upper eqtn and 3×8 in lower one. Beware to multiply that number with all other variable and numbers aslo. Then change the sign and get the answer....
