solve the following
a. 3-4x/9 + 3x-2/3 = 19/9 - x/3

b. 15(y-4) -2(y-a) +5(y+6) =0

c. 5x+4/7x+4 = 5x+1/7x+2

a. 3-4x/9+3x-2/3=19/9-x/3

3-4x/9+9x-6/9=19/9-3x/9

3-4x+9x-6/9=19-3x/9

5x-3/9=19-3x/9

45x-15=171-27x

45x+27x=171+15

72x=186

x=186/72

x=2.5833

b) 15(y-4)-2(y-a)+5(y+6)=0

15y-60-2y+2a+5y+30=0

15y-2y+5y-60+30+2a=0

18y-30+2a=0
